Busy Weekend!

As the title suggests, it's going to be a very busy weekend! I have tuition on Saturday 4pm and Sunday 10am & 4pm.

But wait, i have eight sessions, which lasting 1.5 hrs, to attend online. Got to tune in and take notes since they are not going to make the sessions downloadable anytime soon! The catch is, the 4 sessions held later today is from 9.30am to 5.30pm PST. Let's convert to GMT +8 and it works out that we have to +16hrs to the PST time. So later that works out to be from 12.30am to 9.30am.

Same thing for Saturday night, 8am to 4pm and that works out to be 12am to 8am. Think i have to schedule my sunday morning class to monday afternoon.

No pain no gain! Gotta work hard!

Crunch Time

Right now, i'm vacillating between accepting to stay at hall or home. I am certainly not exaggerating if i use the word 'radical' to describe my course of action if i were to choose home.

Hall has been a major part of my tertiary life, in fact it is safe to say i have evolved through hall activities and interactions. The idea of not staying in hall once daunted me so bad i shuddered, figuratively speaking. Truth be told, the past 4 years spent in hall 15 and 12 were the most nourishing and invigorating experiences in my well-nigh quarter century habitation on earth. Of course there is a flip side to every coin but i shalln't dwell on that. Allow to indulge on the positives just for the fleeting moment.

As the saying goes, 'Every good thing comes to an end.' I feel that i am already starting to drift away from hall activities since last semester. I no longer have a world of friends in comparison to my years 1,2 and 3. Most importantly, i feel the problems comes from within. My zest and enthusiasm has dwindled all so clearly, be it making new friends, attending social and hall activities, etc. I am no longer that involved and gradually becoming the dreaded hermit.

With the implement of the much-anticipated Circle Line, the burden of travelling back and forth from home to ntu has been drastically eased. Bishan straight to Buona Vista, wow, how cool is that. Furthermore, i will have 5 students to manage come this new semester. Yup, 5 students. When Yi Zhi told him he had 5 students, i was literally taken aback. Now, i will be doing that myself and i yearn the challenge. Strangely, the challenge that sports give and my hunger has been marginalised with the commencement of my new online venture and heavier tuition task.

Would i still enjoy the numerous sports trainings? I don't know. Would i still like to get involved in IHG? Yes, i do but i'll be very selective. But one thing for sure is i would like to spend alot more time on my online business venture than training for all the numerous sports, namely seven in grand total. No longer having the luxury of time, i know i must do well in my business venture and i can't afford to lose focus. Instead of spending the time to train and play mahjong, i should channel my time and energy on more concrete and important stuffs. That said, i have to juggle with my studies and FYP as well. I can't afford to slip up on this area either. All in all, the conclusion is i will undoubtedly have less time as compared to my more carefree past. I will have to implement perfect time-management skills and that i cannot take any bit lightly.

Should i choose to walk a different path, i walk with memories down the aisle, but certainly with no regrets, as a new adventurous life on the net beckons.
