World Best

I can't believe i just did that. Twice.

I was cooking the dry meepok noodles. Instead of waiting for the water to boil, i figured i might as well take out a plate and pour the seasonings. Great. And i figured since i was going to use the filter later, i ought to place the plate in the sink so that the filtering 'd be done within the compounds of the sink.

Seeing that the water was boiling already, i frantically put the noodles in and cracked 2 eggs (standard practice). Argh, my hands were soiled by the eggs and so i went to wash them!

And the plate with seasonings was inside the sink.

Inconceivably dumb but i quickly reconciled with my stupidity and promptly opened a new packet just for the seasonings. Same thing, i'm gonna filter off the hot water later, with the plate in the sink, in a nutshell everything done inside the sink, safe!

Spot on. Water boiling, noodles spongy, egg yolks semi-solid, perfect. I promptly lashed out the big-time filter, took the pot and proceeded to do the filtering. Shiok. Can makan finally.

Only with the plate (with the prepared seasonings) underneath whilst filtering.

Some things are just plain inexplicable.
